Find out more

The HCCA is a regional cattlemen’s group, affiliated with the Colorado Cattlemen's Association (CCA), that has a current membership of approximately 105 ranching families and 33 agriculture associated businesses/supporters of ag from DeBeque, Parachute, Silt, Rifle, New Castle, Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Basalt, Woody Creek, Snowmass, Aspen and Burns areas as well as members on the Front Range and in Utah.

We work to keep our members informed of issues and opportunities that can affect their productivity and profitability; provide an educational program; represent our members to local government and governmental agencies; and support youth involvement in agriculture. We take an active role in issues affecting livestock owners and producers such as brand laws, grazing, water use, agriculture, noxious weeds, and predator/wildlife management.

As members of the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association, we have public relations support and folks lobbying on our behalf at the state level. Many of the issues impacting us also impact our sponsors, donors and others in our communities and state.

The HCCA is a nonprofit 501c5.
